Our values define who we are. What we value is a direct reflection of our heart. This is true not only for the individual but for an institution as well. Cornerstone’s values are the reflection of the heart of this ministry. They are stated in the following statements:

Our Aim: Spiritual Maturity

Cornerstone seeks to train men and women to walk in conformity to the Word of God. It is our desire to know and make known Jesus Christ as Lord. It is our conviction that Biblical truth must be made personal and real.

Our Courses: Biblical

At Cornerstone the Bible is at the heart of the entire curriculum. The Word of God is the main textbook. Everyone who studies at Cornerstone majors in Bible.

Our Training: Practical

The training at Cornerstone is designed to equip our students to minister effectively in today’s world. Every opportunity is given to provide the student with practical hands-on experience in order to enhance his or her training.

Our Focus: The World

At Cornerstone we are firmly committed to the “Great Commission.” We believe it is incumbent upon every Christian to have a worldwide vision. The importance of the missionary mandate of the Church is woven in to the entire curriculum.

Philosophy of Teaching

Cornerstone Bible Institute was prayerfully established to train disciplined believers whom the Bible describes as Servants, Laborers and Soldiers of the Cross.

Our Lord taught the disciples of His day to be servants, and He demonstrated the truth He taught. “For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Servants are noted for having duties for which they must give account to their master. The need for discipline in fulfilling our duties is obvious in all of us, and being accountable for our actions does not come naturally to any of us. Productive servants must be trained.
