Music Ministry

CBI Singers

The CBI Singers is Cornerstone's vocal performing group, which is an elective class, as well as a ministry, open to all qualified students. Each spring the choir ministers in local churches on the weekend. During the month of May, the choir travels on tour throughout a portion of the nation.

CBI Handbell Choir

This handbell group offers a fun musical experience for both new and skilled ringers as a class and also as ministry. The handbell choir, made up of choir members, performs as a separate ministry group both at the school and in local churches. However, they perform in conjunction with the CBI Singers ministering in local churches and on choir tour during the month of May.

Watch the homepage or the choir page for updates on the current choir ministry. For more information, or If you are interested in hosting our music group please contact CBI at 605-745-6878

Please make arrangements with the office if you wish to stay on campus or eat meals in the CBI dining hall. Watch the homepage for updates.

Bible Conference

Each February CBI hosts an annual Bible Conference, inviting a speaker to share throughout a week of nineteen chapel sessions. Regular classes are suspended for the week, so the students and staff can attend. Guests are welcome! Please make arrangements with the office if you wish to stay on campus or eat meals in the CBI dining hall.

Christian Service

Christian Service is an opportunity to serve and to verbally communicate the Word of God to people in the community. Students are required to select a ministry under the guidance of the Christian Service Department. Second-semester freshmen work closely with upperclassmen and a faculty supervisor in a ministry where they gain experience and develop leadership skills.

Staff Speakers

Consider inviting a faculty/staff member to represent CBI in your church for a Missionary Sunday, Missions Conference, a Bible Conference, or a Ladies' Retreat.
