Each year CBI hosts several events including the annual fall Missions Conference and spring Bible Conference, and DCBI to name a few.
The CBI dining hall is a wonderful place for fellowship as students enjoy three meals a day. Almost all the food is homemade and served buffet style. Variety and nutrition are both important aspects of CBI’s dining hall.
Classes are held in the Administration building on Monday through Friday.
There are a few work scholarships available to students to help with school bills. Possible jobs include: Janitorial, Dish washing, and library work.
Many students also can find jobs in town.
Each year, Cornerstone has some activities and traditions such as: the annual Aluminum Man Triathlon, Christmas Decoration Contest between the men’s and ladies’ dorms, special chapels (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Resurrection chapels), Senior Banquet (hosted by the Junior class), Senior meals, and Senior Sneak.
Cornerstone Bible Institute is located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Come visit some of the nearby attractions! See Mount Rushmore, hike around Sylvan lake or up Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak), Swim at Evan’s Plunge (a hot spring fed swimming pool) tour the nationally renowned Mammoth Site, and do some exploring in Wind Cave National Park – the 4th largest cave in the world. Or just take a walk through historic downtown Hot Springs with its natural mineral springs and sandstone architecture. Rapid City is only an hour drive away, a great place for shopping, or many other activities. CBI in the Black Hills provides the perfect peaceful atmosphere to study, think, and grow.
